Selfridges Opens World’s Largest Shoe Department

_Selfridges London has recently unveiled the world’s largest shoe department. Spanning across 35,000 sq ft, it will be home to more than 4,000 pairs of shoes from 120 brands. It will also stock 30 exclusive styles specially commissioned by Selfridges. [ABOVE]

Ralph Lauren's Manhattan apartment in Elle Decor October 2010: The photos!

Earlier this week, I mentioned that Elle Decor's October 2010 issue features Ralph and Ricky Lauren's Manhattan home. The pictures I posted (here) were from his new Brook Street collection. Below is HIS home. I am the biggest fan of black and white modern interiors with wood and fur accents, along with vintage art in antique frames to make the space feel lived in - and lots of BOOKS! Elle Decor October 2010 hits newsstands September 21.

The Godiva store in Tokyo

Why don't we have a Godiva store in Los Angeles designed like this?! Tokyo interior design team Wonderwall did an incredible job with the Harajuku district Godiva store in Tokyo. The combination of chocolate and a lavish space is heaven. I have the exact same chandelier above my bed :)

_Created for Tommy Hilfiger's 25th anniversary, this monumental edition reveals the work and the man, whose own philosophy is at the root of all his designs. The book is finally available, here.

_Subject noteworthy: I love Tommy Hilfiger's Fall/Winter 2010 collection (here) and his Spring 2011 collection that was presented at his show in New York yesterday (here). So Sartorialist preppy chic.
